Gorgeous stuff, as always. 'Oceans Apart' really hit me.
Can you post on Westgate yet? Daniel archived your stuff, as you may know. Looks like you'll have to start a Chapter #2, for being such a prolific writer. Maybe include the archive link in your signature.
I forgot. So what's your opinion of France? Any culture shock problems?
I can't post on Westgate yet. Andre's Bizarre Verses II will be forthcoming as soon as I can post again.
France was amazing. I had no culture shock problems, but one of my companions (evil grandmother) did. ("Everybody smokes here! People drive weird! Eeew, snails!")
Snails are great. I like the French version better than the Italian version (the only two I've tried), but that garlic butter sauce can probably make lima beans taste good, not that I'd waste the sauce like that.
Being damaged as I am, I can't stand to be around smokers. I mean, I did used to be a hopeless Tilex snorter, ya know? (I bet you thought I was kidding. Well, in a way I am. I just used to be real reckless with the cleaning chemicals, gassed myself out of the apartment numerous times, and it does take a heavy toll from which I don't think one can recover without a stong holistic approach which I'm too lazy to bother with.)
Or did I already post this information somewhere?!
